Lemoyne is served with easy access to Interstate 83 and Route 11/15 and has been known as the “gateway to the West Shore” serving as an entryway from Harrisburg to the many communities across the river from Harrisburg. Lemoyne is a part of the West Shore School District
Lemoyne is a quaint town that is most known for its West Shore Farmer’s Market, a place where people can shop for the freshest meats, fruits and vegetables and includes other delightful shoppes. It has been in existence for more than 60 years and locals consider it part of their Central Pennsylvania “experience”.
In 2005, Lemoyne celebrated its 100th birthday. Planning for the celebration helped to generate a major revitilization effort. A new streetscape, the creation of a business association, improvements to the parks and recreation, and the infusion of arts and entertainment were all a part of that process.
